I’ve read tons of literature on a raw food diet, and I’m still amazed when I read other people’s testimonials about how they healed their dis-eases, lost weight, and overcame psychological problems.
It seems that a raw food diet is a supreme diet for healing nearly all dis-eases in various stages.
People claim they heal (or at least they stopped having symptoms and having their dis-ease under control) cancer, diabetes, inflammatory bowel conditions, heart disease, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and various skin diseases.
Many people even ditched their medications whilst on this diet.
But it has to be noted that these people’s diet was 90-100 % for several months before they reached a significant improvement.
From my personal experience, I can say that I followed 80-100% raw food diet most of the time for the last few months and I no longer have symptoms of Ulcerative Colitis which I had for the last two years.
It is possible that depending on your dis-ease, your diet might be slightly different than the diet of your friend who doesn’t have any ailments.
For example, if you have problems with digestion, you might need to drink more smoothies and liquid salads than eating raw chopped vegetables. Depending on what you are trying to heal, you might need to find the right source of information for you.
